With diverse backgrounds and specialized interests across various aspects of psychiatry, we work collaboratively to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care

Amy McClintock, APRN, PMHNP-C

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 17+ years as a registered nurse. I chose this work to help reduce stigma and offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk openly. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management—collaborating with you on a plan that fits your goals. I specialize in depression, bipolar I/II, and anxiety, and welcome clients of all ages and identities. I’m an LGBTQ+ ally. As a military spouse and former ER nurse, I understand the unique stressors facing first responders, service members, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals. P.S. I love T-Rexes!

Janelle Welch-Oliver, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-C, PMHNP-BC

Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

CEO

I believe the broken can help heal the broken—and that healing doesn’t have to happen alone. My integrative practice seeks root causes and blends mindfulness with evidence-based options, including medication, supplements, psychotherapy, and other healing modalities. I founded Olive Branch Psychiatrics after seeing the disconnect between physical and mental health. I care for people of all backgrounds and have a soft spot for the military community, first responders, teachers, and nurses. I also enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and older adults. Clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, and PTSD. Outside of work, I love to travel, explore caves, and snorkel—and at home you’ll often find me with my family or tending the garden.

Janelle has been an RN since 2009 and a nurse practitioner since 2016. She is triple board certified as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Amanda Carnevale, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Hello! I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I’m passionate about working together with you to find the best treatment approach to improve your mental health and wellbeing. I believe that healing is not always linear, and that mental health is a lifelong journey and not one-size-fits-all. I focus on treating and improving individuals’ mental health through a holistic approach. This will look different for each person, and may include medication, supplements, psychotherapy referrals, mindfulness and other types of treatment.

My areas of interest include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have a passion for helping individuals suffering with OCD. This is a safe space for ALL individuals, and I welcome military spouses, veterans, LGBTQ+, children, adults, and seniors. I also enjoy treating pregnant and postpartum individuals.

A little about me: I received bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Nursing. After working in the ICU for several years, I received my Master’s in Nursing, specializing in psychiatry. In my free time, I love hiking with friends and family, playing with my dogs, reading, traveling, and watching sports.
