Our team
At Olive Branch Psychiatrics, we are a dedicated team of three board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, each bringing unique experience, expertise, and perspective to the field of mental health. With diverse backgrounds and specialized interests across various aspects of psychiatry, we work collaboratively to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Janelle Welch-Oliver, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-C, PMHNP-BC
Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
CEO
I believe the broken can help heal the broken—and that healing doesn’t have to happen alone. I founded Olive Branch Psychiatrics after seeing the disconnect between physical and mental health and using my background in both family and psychiatric medicine, I try to bridge that gap. I have a soft spot for the military community, first responders, teachers, nurses, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Clinical interests include mood and personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, and ADHD(I have three neurodivergent children ranging from school-aged to teenaged). Outside of work, I love to travel, explore caves, and snorkel—and at home you’ll often find me with my family or tending the garden.
Janelle has been an RN since 2009 and a nurse practitioner since 2016. She is triple board certified as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Janelle is NOT taking any students for precepting at this time.

Amy McClintock, APRN, PMHNP-C
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 17+ years of experience as a registered nurse. I chose this work to help reduce stigma and offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk openly. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatments, and medication management—collaborating with you on a plan that fits your goals.
I specialize in depression, bipolar I/II, and anxiety, and I welcome clients of all ages and identities. I’m an LGBTQ+ ally. As a military spouse and former ER nurse, I understand the unique stressors facing first responders, service members, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals. P.S. I love T-Rexes!
Amy joined Olive Branch in June of 2025 following her clinical preceptorship with Janelle.
Stephanie Alexander, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I believe everyone carries their own struggles, and that how we treat each other can profoundly impact mental health. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and comfortable being yourself—because real healing starts with feeling understood.
I chose this path after years of caring for patients and noticing how often people felt judged, dismissed, or alone during some of the hardest moments of their lives—whether that was after having a baby, navigating substance use, or facing mental health challenges in general. I’ve also seen this on a personal level within my own family, experiencing both the weight of ongoing struggles and the hope that comes with sustained recovery. Those experiences have shaped how I show up as a provider today—with compassion, patience, and a belief that change is always possible.
With over 15 years of nursing experience, including work as a labor and delivery staff nurse, leadership roles, and experience as a perinatal nurse educator, I bring both clinical knowledge and a very real, human approach to care. I provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment through thoughtful medication management with built-in psychotherapy, always working with you to create a plan that actually fits your life.
Clinical interests include anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders including bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and perinatal and postpartum mental health. I have a special place in my heart for children and adolescents, as well as pregnant and postpartum individuals and those navigating substance use. I am also an LGBTQIA+ ally and strive to provide care that is inclusive, respectful, and supportive of all identities.
As the spouse of an IBEW electrician, I understand the unique challenges that can come with demanding, high-risk jobs and long-distance travel time spent away from home. I also recognize the impact that mental health and substance use can have not just on individuals, but on the people who love and support them, including families, partners, and healthcare professionals.
Outside of work, I’ve been married to the love of my life for 33 years. We have four amazing adult kids, my favorite humans, an amazing son-in-law, and a growing family, along with two dogs and two cats, so life is rarely quiet.
If you’re looking for a provider who will meet you where you are, keep things real, and work alongside you—not just prescribe and disappear—you’re in the right place.
I'm a die-hard Oklahoma State Cowboys fan over here—fall weekends usually involve football, family, and a little bit of chaos. Go Pokes! 🧡🏈
